World Wildlife Day was launched on March 3, 1973 by the United Nations to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild fauna and flora across the globe and of the numerous benefits that their conservation provides to people. The Art Club and Social Club of KSE had collaborated with each other in making posters with slogans and colours, aimed at spreading awareness. On the morning of World Wildlife Day, the students walked from the college campus through the streets and lanes of south Kolkata, carrying the posters.
